We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to develop innovative furniture concepts that combine functionality, comfort, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, engineers, and production teams to create designs that meet customer needs, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • • Design and develop furniture products such as chairs, tables, cabinets, sofas, beds, and office furniture.
  • • Create sketches, 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications using CAD software.
  • • Research market trends, materials, colors, and finishes to develop innovative designs.
  • • Select appropriate materials, hardware, and production methods.
  • • Prepare prototypes and coordinate product testing.
  • • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
  • • Revise designs based on customer feedback and production requirements.
  • • Prepare bills of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and product documentation.
  • • Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • • Support product launches and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Must Have

  • • Bachelor's degree Architecture, and Mechanical Engineering and 2 years’ Experience in furniture Design.
  • • Proven experience in furniture design or product design.
  • • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.
  • • Strong understanding of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
  • • Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and visualization skills.
  • • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

  • • Knowledge of woodworking, metal fabrication, and upholstery.
  • • Experience with rendering software such as KeyShot, 3ds Max, or V-Ray.
  • • Understanding of ergonomics and sustainable design principles.
  • • Familiarity with CNC manufacturing and production processes.
